DSG works with both synchronous Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and peer-to-peer asynchronous Message Queuing (Request/Reply) on top of OSI ACSE/ROSEand TCP/IP protocols. Its distributed computing environment complies withthe Application Layer Structure (ALS) international standard.
